Apple was released iOS 14 on 16th September, the new operating system that offers the latest features and improvements especially iPhone that supports from iphone 6s to the latest iPhone 11.

The release follows “time flies” event where also announced the brand new apple watch series and apple iPad air. While new released features a bit new to iPhone users those familiar with most android devices. Here’s a list of all new iOS 14 features which android had.

Translate

Translate app is new to iOS 14 that’s designed in real-time use conversation. It can translate between 11 languages including English, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, German, and French while in March of 2020, Google’s dedicated translate app could transcribe eight language in conversation on real-time.

Widgets

The new iOS revamped iPhone and iPad home screen with widget to allows apple user to view the information like weather at a glance, iPhone user could only have apps on the iPhone home screen. Where widget contain more information and advance functional than app icons, have been used by Google’s Android since 2008.

Wind Down Mode

Another features is wind down mode that helps user to ready for bed. This feature works with iPhone and Apple Watch to setup desired bedtime or wake-up while put your iPhone into Do Not Disturb mode.

App Clips

Apple App Clips let users preview small parts of apps without downloading them in quickly preview mode. This become handy when trying to pay parking or takeout since the app is more compatible with Apple Pay.
